1.21 Mother

Mother, you are the most important person in my life,
Often I fail to speak my feelings,
I am of the age where one keeps one's feelings inside themselves,
But, doubtless, my feelings are still the same,
Mother, you mean more to me than riches and gold.

The love that I feel for you is immense,
It cannot be snuffed out by a gentle wind,
A mighty hurricane could not flicker the flame of my love,
Mother, you mean more to me than the Earth and stars.

Mother, you are the one and only true rock in my life,
If I am ever seeking salvation, I know your arms are open,
I can always count on you to give your best, 110%,
Even if it is not often returned, it is still deeply felt,
Mother, you mean more to me than diamonds and gems.

There is nothing I wouldn't give to you,
I would sacrifice everything I have for you, and you alone,
If I would have my way, I would see you cared for in all possible ways,
Never do I want to see you shed a tear or cry, unless you weep tears of joy,
Mother, you mean more to me than pearls or rubies.

Mother, do you realise how much you mean to me?
I love you dearly, far more than I can express,
I cannot imagine my life without you,
Be proud with the knowledge that you are the pillar of my life,
Mother, you mean more to me than sapphires or emeralds.

You are forever the beacon in my life,
Through the darkness you light the way,
Always lifting me up and picking up the pieces,
My love to you radiates stronger than any other,
Mother, you mean more to me than the heavens, Earth and beyond,
Nothing mother, nothing is greater to me than my love for you.
