1.34 Life's clock
Tick tock, tick, tock,
I hear the ticking of life's clock.
With every little tick and tiny tock
Our lives are shortened forever,
That tiny second hand stealing our time.
Tick tock, tick tock.
Today is the day I mourn another year gone by,
Evidence I am eternally ageing,
Never growing any younger, always older.
The hands will one day grind to a halt,
A tick tock, tick, tick, tick...
