1.4 Snowflakes
From my window I watch the snowflakes fall,
They spiral down from the heavens,
Falling, falling to the earth.
Have you ever seen anything so beautiful?
A stray flakes drifts unto the window,
Resting there on the window for me to see,
Such hypnotic patterns, a gift from God.
Have you ever seen anything so beautiful?
I am mesmerised by the blinding brilliance of this tiny flake,
The patterns are far too amazing to comprehend,
Another flake sticks, followed by another, then another. They are all unique,
Have you ever seen anything so beautiful?
Yes, yes I have... it is in the face of my true love,
Every time I close my eyes, I see their face, their sparkling eyes.
I open my eyes and see an angel, you are standing before me, lifting me up.
You are my unique snowflake, descending from the heavens, my gift from God.
