1.45 Love for another
He loves me dearly with all of his heart and soul,
Yet he fears that my love is for another,
I cannot do anything to sway his chain of thought.
In my heart I feel strong compassion for another,
But, that is purely circumstantial and surely not meaningful?
Has this compassion been mistaken for something that it is not?
Or, have a love unrealised been brought to light?
I do not believe it is an unrealised love, for my heart belongs to him,
Willingly I devote myself to him, heart, body and mind.
There is no length I would not go to just to see him happy,
But there is one thing I can never ever do,
No matter what the price may be,
I could... and would... never ever turn my back on the other.
