1.74 Déjà vu

Years of your life may be spent healing the hurt,
It seems like an eternity to feel whole again,
Yet, all of that time invested can be blown apart in an instant.
One flicker and the ticker is reset,
One action can make an instant connection,
One moment of déjà vu is all it takes.
Now it is time to make that painful journey again.

One day the haunting will stop,
One day the pain and hurt will cease,
One day déjà vu will not bother me.
Until that day, it is a constant struggle,
I feel I have nowhere to turn, I am lost.
Take my hand and guide me,
Touch my spirit and warm me.

Together, let us try and say goodbye to it,
As one, we will fight it away.
The journey may be long and hard,
It may even be a road that never ends,
But as long as I have you, then I have strength,
With you I know I will never be alone.
With you, we can end déjà vu... one day.
