2.10 When did you lose your way
There was a time when my world used to spin healthily around,
A time when you and I shared our lives, hopes and dreams, our lives bound.
When we first met, you were a humble man ready to live a humble life,
Now substituting that to strive to the high-octane life, causing pain and strife.
What happened to my man? What happened to the sweet man who was sound?
As you have changed you have lost your caring and the warmth that made you,
From being special and unique to an unrecognisable monster, this is sadly true.
I pray that there is a way to make you come back to being a humble man,
Life can be anything we make of it, we don't need fancy jobs or a great plan.
What you have done to me, the lasting effects and mental impact leave me blue.
Is there a hope that you can revert and change back to the caring man you used to be?
Is there a light that can guide you to being the man that didn't care about the trouble we see?
I want to be able to reach out and bring you back to what we both know was there,
To bring a new change and hope to our lives, something about which you used to care.
For now you are to be the ruin of me, only you have the power to avoid this, this we can agree.
A world that used to spin and turn and fill us both with hope is beginning to slow down,
Slowing to the point of stopping as my life loses meaning, as poignant as a sad clown.
There is still a chance for you to act and change, and you need to realise this before it is too late,
I have been understanding and patient, but soon it will be time to close that gate.
Let love find a way, let your life become joined with mine and be humble, find love and let us lose the pain and that frown.
Your way is lost and with strength together we can find the path we are meant to be on,
The opportunity to change and rectify your actions and this situation has not yet gone.
There is little time left for me to remain strong and to be your guardian angel for much longer,
I have to find a way to stand up for myself against you and to be stronger,
But you still have opportunity to find love and come back, no more pain and hurt, back where we belong.
